Barbara Hunt, CMP, brings over 20 years of event planning experience to BES Events. She is recognized for her calm leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of budget management. A specialist in conference management, Barbara’s role often is that of the Logistics Manager dealing with the conference venue, and all the vendors who supply the needed services for the conference.

During college, Barbara worked on community events such as the Detroit Grand Prix, Montreux Detroit Jazz Festival and the Detroit/Windsor International Freedom Festival. Barbara graduated from Michigan State University and worked for several years as a meeting planner for the Michigan Association of CPAs working with professional committees to plan over 40 events a year. Upon moving to Seattle in 1991, she has focused her event planning skills in the high tech arena, primarily for Microsoft.
